BISEP has completed clinical trials on the The A.R.M.M. device to determine if it is effective for people who have mobility challenges, disabilities, fear of falling or any other walking abnormality. Patients from long-term care facilities were observed using the ARMM device and in these trials, the patients increased walking speed by 24% and increased their walking distance by 17%. In addition, patients reported a 48% increase in their walking confidence; and a 20% decrease in their fear of falling.
When we asked over 100 physio and occupational therapists if they would use the ARMM device or recommend it to other practitioners, 90% agreed that it would help their patients and those of their colleagues.
The ARMM has also been used by many different individuals including those suffering from: Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Amputation, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, Heart Disease, Obesity, Orthopedic Outpatients and many more. All of our customers have been extremely satisfied with the ARMM device and have noticed great improvements in their walking ability and overall quality of life.
Many seniors get hospitalized because of fall-related injuries, or from ailments related to not moving and a sedentary lifestyle. The A.R.M.M. can be a comprehensive support system for individuals wanting to feel more confident while walking, or transfering from a wheelchair to a walker.
